Hello traders,
If you’ve ever wanted to know where price is likely to reverse—before it happens—this is the tool that can get you there.
In my latest video, I walk you through one of my absolute favorite tools for day trading futures: the Volume Profile, specifically the Fixed Range Volume Profile. This isn’t just another chart overlay—it’s like an x-ray machine for price action. It shows you what’s happening beneath the candles: where buyers and sellers are most active, where value is accepted, and where price is likely to respond.
I show you exactly how I apply this on the S&P 500 futures chart, using TradingView. By drawing the volume profile between a swing low and a swing high, I can immediately see where the market found fair value—and more importantly, where it didn’t.
Curious how a real NASDAQ trade unfolds – from setup to smart exit at breakeven? I break down the logic here, the signals, and the mindset behind a no-regret trade. It’s not flashy, but it’s the kind that keeps you consistent.
Here’s the key: I don’t just look at price levels. I focus on volume cliffs—areas of low volume nodes inside the profile. These are places where one side of the market was completely in control. If it’s all buyers and no sellers? That’s where I want to look for support. If it’s all sellers and no buyers? That’s a strong area of resistance.
Again and again, I show you examples where price pulls back into these low-volume zones—often just outside or inside the value area—and then reverses with strength. That’s not a coincidence. That’s the structure.
And the beauty of this? It works across timeframes. Whether you’re day trading intraday swings or looking at higher timeframe setups, this tool helps you pinpoint high-probability zones before price reacts.
In the video, I also talk about how I pair volume profiles with price action techniques. The profile tells me where to look. Structure and behavior tell me when to act. This combination gives me the confidence to enter with tight stops and strong conviction—no more guessing.
Watch the full breakdown now to see how I use volume profiles to anticipate reversals, identify value zones, and stay ahead of the crowd.
If you’re trading without understanding how value is negotiated in the market, you’re missing the most important context of all. Volume profile doesn’t just show you what happened – it shows you why.[Click here to watch] and take your technical game to the next level.
Day trading isn’t about predicting. It’s about positioning. This is one of the sharpest tools I use to do it.
If this changes how you see price, don’t miss the setup that ties it all together – built on imbalance, liquidity, and timing ahead of the Fed. It’s pure auction logic in action.
If you’re ready to stop playing the victim of price and start reading the auction like a pro – this is your moment to shift.
Because the market doesn’t need you to be perfect. It just needs you to finally understand how the game really works.
See you in the next one.
