Why I’m Betting on Silver Over Gold Right Now

Hello traders,

I think you’ll get a ton of value from this perspective today –  it’s all about why, right now, silver might be setting up as an even more compelling trade than gold.

If you’ve traded these metals before, you know gold is like the S&P 500 of the commodity world. It moves with grace, slower, steadier, usually a bit easier on the nerves.

Silver? Silver is the Nasdaq. It’s emotional, it whips around, it traps traders left and right, but when it decides to move, it moves big.

In the video I filmed for you below, I walk you through some eye-opening comparisons. From the lows back on April 7 to the most recent highs, gold climbed nearly 18 percent.

Not bad at all.
But silver in that same stretch? It rocketed over 35 percent.
That’s more than double the ground covered, though it came with plenty of nasty fake-outs along the way.

This is exactly why I always reduce my position size when trading silver.
I know going in that I’m more likely to get faked out a few times before catching the real move. But that’s also why my dollar gains in silver often end up bigger than my gold trades – the volatility cuts both ways. It’s not good or bad. It’s simply a feature you need to learn to harness.

If this changes how you see your struggles, you’re ready for the next step—building a system that removes doubt and makes true discipline automatic.

Below, I show you the pennant pattern I’m tracking right now.
Silver’s been compressing beautifully, energy is coiling up, and if we get that strong bullish candle closing above the structure, I’m in.
No hesitation.

If it breaks down instead? I step aside.
I’m not here to force shorts in an uptrend. I’m here to let the clean setups come to me.

Calm markets can be the loudest, if you know what to listen for. I break down how I read structure, manage risk, and stay patient when the noise fades. This is where real discipline kicks in.

if you’re curious about why I see silver outshining gold this round, or you just want to watch the exact levels and setups I’m using, go check out the full video.

See you in the next one.

When Energy Oversupply Turns Into Your Trading Edge

Hello traders, Lately I’ve been watching the oil market very closely, more closely than usual.Over the past few weeks, the IEA revised its 2025 supply forecasts upward. OPEC+ output is rising, non-OPEC producers like the US, Brazil, Guyana, Canada are all increasing production. Demand growth, by contrast, is creeping up more slowly. The gap between …

When Central Banks Signal Stability

Hello traders, Last week, the ECB held rates steady at 2%. On the surface, that looks like a non-event. No fireworks, no shock. But in this market, “steady” is anything but boring. Stability from a central bank in 2025 is not passive, it’s a signal. Traders were leaning hard on the idea that cuts might …

Rate Cut Roulette: Futures Balance on the Edge of Fed Decision

Hello traders, The futures market was playing a dangerous game this week, and every tick comes down to one question: how far will Powell go on September 17? The setup looks bullish on the surface, but the cracks in the labor market tell a more complicated story. Weekly jobless claims jumped by 27,000 to 263,000, …

AI Pushes Futures to the Brink of New Highs

Hello traders, Wednesday morning opened with a jolt of momentum for futures traders as Oracle’s blowout contract pipeline sent E-mini S&P 500 futures climbing toward fresh highs.
